The Ultimate Relationship

I wish I could express to you the joy that comes from knowing Christ (Eph 3:17-19). As the anxieties and cares of life mount our hearts, we reach the summit feeling discouraged and exhausted. In those moments I've learned to turn to Him and seek His Fatherly counsel. As the Fatherly relationship has grown, my heart has been healing (Is. 61:3). He's bound my wounds, poured healing ointment into them and when need be, redresses them. Sometimes old wounds resurface. When they resurface we bring them back to Him. We ask Him to heal them once again. The beauty is we can continue to bring them to Him and He'll patiently heal. It's from the healing, the love and tender care of our beautiful Gardner that we learn it's possible to love others. Yes, we can marry and stay married. Yes, we can raise godly children. Yes, I can love that earthly father who seems so silly at times. What we can do with Christ is endless.
